Mr. Witt is a managing director in the Munich office and the head of PIMCO's business in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Benelux, the Nordics, and Central and Eastern Europe. He is also chair of the supervisory board of PIMCO Prime Real Estate. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2002, he was an investment banker with Goldman Sachs in Menlo Park, California, and a risk manager with Deutsche Bank in Germany, Australia, Hong Kong, the U.K., and the U.S. He has 28 years of investment experience and holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He also participated in a one-year exchange program at the University of California, Berkeley, and holds a master's degree in economics from the University of Bonn, Germany.
